Annelids are considered bilaterally symmetrical. The basic annelid (seaworm) has multiple segments. Each segment has the same set of organs, and a pair of parapodia used for movement. They have a cerebral ganglion (brain) that typically resides in the head. Sea worms have six kinds of sensory structures that include palps, antennae, eyes, statocysts, nuchal organs and lateral organs. They reproduce asexually and are able to regenerate after severe injuries.
