In Cephalopods, the animals's head is it's foot (cephalopod literally meaning head-foot). They experience bilateral symmetry. A ring of tentacles surround the anterior edge of the head. They are used for capturing prey, defense, reproduction, and depending on the species, movement. The tentacles are usually covered with suction cups. Some cephalopods have an internal shell, like a squid. Some may not have a shell at all, like an octopus. They are carnivores, but their diet varies based upon their habitat.
